Installing Sod has many advantages over growing a lawn from seed. Sod provides immediate gratification with a lot less hassle. When seeding a lawn you must consider the need to water it twice a day, a rainstorm can wash out seed in the early stages of germination, and for dog owners (muddy paws in the house).
Our Landscape Professionals will Start by Removing your Old Lawn. Your old unwanted turf will be scraped away with high end equipment and removed off site.
Once the old lawn is removed, a layer of fresh topsoil will be spread and graded to provide a healthy bed filled with nutrients for the new sod to grow on. At this time our professionals can eliminate any drainage problems.
Once the new sod is laid, it will take roughly 3 weeks for the sod to become established and rooted. It's important to NOT cut the new lawn until it has become rooted. It will need to be watered at least once daily.
